Dear children,

How are you? I hope you are all well.

Some of you may see this now because you are in day school, while others may see it later when you go for holidays. Either way, the message will still be good for you.

My name is Joweria Nabuuma, the executive director of Kiara Events Ltd, the organisers of the Baby and Kids Expo. Today, I want to extend my invitation to you to attend the Baby and Kids Expo 2026. It will take place on May 16 and 17, 2026, at the UMA Showgrounds in Lugogo.

I am going to give you three good reasons why you should be there:

  1. Its a place for you to shine

Have you ever attended a kids’ party where everything was done by adults? Well, at the Baby and Kids Expo, the stage belongs to you, the children. So expect children singing, fashion shows and even children serving as MCs. This means that with your talent, you can be on the big stage at the Expo.

  1. Art

I know children love art. But sometimes there is no paint when you need it, other times there is no clay when you want to make pottery, and at times it can get very messy. At the Baby and Kids Expo, there is a dedicated space for art where you can paint and use clay as much as you want.

  1. Robotics and Science

Do you want to build your own robot from scratch, and see it respond to your commands? Or do you want to put to into practice all the science you study in class? We’ll have the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) challenges and activities. We want you to be part of all this.

And by the way, it is not a complete children’s event without swings, games and prizes — and these will all be there for you to enjoy as you learn.

So, with these reasons, I invite you once again to be part of the Baby and Kids Expo. Kindly ask your dear parents and guardians to bring you. The entry fee is only UGX 10,000 — or in your language, 10K.

Tell them there will also be plenty for them to do as adults, so they will have fun too. Thank you very much. I hope to see you there.

Yours sincerely,

Joweria Nabuuma
