In the heart of every great childhood is a memory of play. Returning once again to deliver an immersive play experience at the Baby and Kids Expo is Verina’s Playhouse, a one-stop centre for children’s games and entertainment.

Founded in memory of a beloved grandmother, Verina, renowned for her deep and unwavering love for children, Verina has grown into a leading provider of mobile play experiences since its inception in 2016. It began with the importation of its first bouncing castle, driven by a simple mission: to take the fun to where children are, whenever and wherever.

“In the Bible, Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me,’” said Alex Nangumya, executive director of Verina’s Playhouse. “We go by this philosophy; we want the little children to come to us and have fun.”

Nangumya explained that the team recognised early on that children are happiest and most confident in familiar environments, surrounded by people they know. This insight has shaped their approach of transforming ordinary spaces at homes, parties, weddings etc into vibrant hubs of play, eliminating the need for families to travel long distances in search of entertainment.

As in previous editions of the Baby and Kids Expo, Verina’s Playhouse will curate a dynamic play zone featuring a wide range of activities. These include bouncing castles and trampolines, foosball, mobile swimming pools, water slides, face painting, professional clowning, and their signature fresh ice cream, which has become a crowd favourite.

This year’s package also introduces musical statues, adding a new layer of interactive fun, while the ever-popular water slides are expected to be a major highlight.

According to Nangumya, the experience goes beyond excitement and energy, it also aligns with the expo’s 2026 theme, Care Before Crisis, by prioritising safety and structured play.

Every activity is supervised by trained staff, with first-aid support available on-site to ensure a secure environment for children. The emphasis on safety, he noted, allows parents to relax and fully enjoy the experience alongside their children.

Verina’s Playhouse has advised parents to come prepared, particularly with swimming costumes, as water-based activities will be in full operation. With its blend of creativity, convenience, and safety, Verina’s Playhouse is set to ensure that this year’s Baby and Kids Expo is not just an event, but a memorable experience for children and families alike.
