Our Events Director Elizabeth Birabwa Aliro, has for about two decades been working at the pinnacle of creative events and communications in Uganda and the EAC Region. She specializes in high level strategy and delivery, complex multi-stakeholder corporate and Government projects, quality assurance and team leadership. She is responsible for creative input and innovation, styling and theming, project organization and communication. She has coordinated and successfully managed large international conferences while working at the Economic Policy Research Centre.
These include to mention the most recent, the International Conference on Social Protection for Inclusive Growth in Africa held on June 21, 2018 in Kampala; the International Conference on Child Poverty in Africa held in Kampala from 10th-12th September 2018. She has also coordinated and supervised book and report launches on behalf of UN agencies such as the Uganda Launch of the Human Development Report 2014 and 2015 respectively and the Uganda Lunch of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa Report 2015.
She has also worked on a variety of large and small-scale projects and events for UN agencies, research think tanks, civil society organizations and government Ministries, Departments and Agencies. She is passionate about working closely with clients to achieve the best outcomes for customer engagement and communication strategies.
